<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic carrier to a toner, specifically a negative triboelectric charge type toner, capable of stably applying constantly high triboelectric charging through a use in a long period. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic carrier has a magnetic material core particle and a resin coating layer coating a surface of the magnetic material core particle. The resin coating layer includes at least an acrylic resin. The acrylic resin is composed of three parts including a unit (1), a unit (2) and unit (3). The unit (1) and the unit (3) are chemically bonded, and three dimensionally crosslinked, so that the acrylic resin has excellent hardness. The unit (2) has a quaternary ammonium salt structure and contributes to improvement of application of the triboelectric charging to the negative triboelectric charge type toner of the magnetic carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
