摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garnet-type oxide obtained at a lower temperature and having excellent chemical stability, a wide potential window and high lithium ion conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for producing a garnet-type lithium ion-conducting oxide, a garnet-type lithium ion-conducting oxide having excellent chemical stability, a wide potential window, high lithium ion conductivity and a basic composition represented by the formula is sysnthesized: Li<SB POS="POST">5+X</SB>La<SB POS="POST">3</SB>Zr<SB POS="POST">X</SB>A<SB POS="POST">2-X</SB>O<SB POS="POST">12</SB>, (wherein A is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Sc, Ti, V, Y, Nb, Hf, Ta, Al, Si, Ga and Ge, and 1≤X<2). In this synthesis, an aqueous starting salt solution prepared by dissolving an Li salt, an La salt and a Zr salt in a ratio based on the above basic composition and an alkaline aqueous solution are mixed and the resulting precursor is fired.
