The invention relates to an impact beam (18, 18c, 28) for a vehicle underrun protection arrangement, having a length substantially corresponding to the width of said vehicle (10) and a height allowing the beam to function as an underrun protection barrier when mounted to a vehicle. For this purpose the impact beam comprises support surfaces (32) for mounting the beam (18, 18c, 28) rigidly to the vehicle (10), characterized in that said support surfaces (32) are arranged in three dimensions adapted to cooperate with corresponding three dimensional surfaces (25, 26) on the vehicle in a rigid form lock. |
