The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting cancer metastasis, containing Mammaglobin, and particularly, to: a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting cancer metastasis, containing, as an active ingredient, Mammaglobin protein as a target molecule for inhibition of cancer metastasis, a gene of encoding the Mammaglobin protein, or a recombinant expression vector containing the gene, and a method for inhibiting cancer metastasis by using the same; a kit for predicting a possibility of cancer metastasis; a method for selecting a risk group for cancer metastasis by using the kit; and a method for screening a cancer metastasis inhibitor. As discussed above, it is ascertained in the present invention that cancer metastasis can be effectively inhibited by inhibiting movement and invasion of cancer cells through an increase in the expression level of Mammaglobin. Therefore, the Mammaglobin of the present invention can be useful as a target molecule for inhibiting cancer metastasis. |
