Provided is a solid state drive suitable for an increase in capacity. The solid state drive includes a flash memory, and a capacitor electrically connected to the flash memory. The capacitor is composed of an electric double layer capacitor including an electrolyte solution containing propylene carbonate.

an electric double layer capacitor comprising an electrolyte solution including a propylene carbonate; and a flash memory electrically connected to the electric double layer capacitor, wherein the electric double layer capacitor has an electrostatic capacitance that is equal to or greater than 560 mF and that is equal to or less than 840 mF.
