A method of controlling operation of a system for providing electrical power to one or more electrical devices, the system comprising an adjustable power source root node and one or more adjustable power source remote nodes located remotely from the adjustable power source root node, the method comprising: for each of the adjustable power source root node and the one or more adjustable power source remote nodes: continuously detecting, by an electronic metering device, measurements of electricity supplied to the one or more electrical devices from a power source associated with the adjustable power source root node or the one or more adjustable power source remote nodes;continuously computing, by a processor of a controller, estimated deviant voltage levels that the supplied electricity will not drop below or exceed as a result of varying electrical consumption by the one or more electrical devices, the deviant voltage level being computed based on a predetermined confidence level and the detected measurements of electricity;outputting, by the controller, definite adjustment information indicative of an adjustment to or maintenance of a voltage level output of the electricity supplied to the one or more electrical devices based on the computed estimated deviant voltage levels;outputting, by the controller, anticipated adjustment information indicative of an anticipated adjustment to the voltage level output based on the computed deviant voltage levels; and applying, by the controller, a first decision function for at least one of the one or more adjustable power source remote nodes to generate node control information for controlling the voltage level output of the at least one of the one or more adjustable power source remote nodes based on: the definite adjustment information,the anticipated adjustment information, andsource information indicative of a voltage offset applied by one or more nodes upstream of the at least one of the one or more adjustable power source remote nodes; and controlling, by the controller, the voltage level output of the at least one of the one or more adjustable power source remote nodes based on the node control information.
