A wide-angle optical lens assembly includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element, and a sixth lens element. The first lens element with negative refractive power has a concave image-side surface. The second lens element with refractive power has a concave object-side surface and a convex image-side surface. The third lens element has positive refractive power. The fourth lens element has positive refractive power. The fifth lens element with refractive power has an object-side surface and an image-side surface which both are aspheric. The sixth lens element with refractive power has a convex object-side surface, wherein the object-side surface and an image-side surface thereof are both aspheric. At least one of the second lens element and the fifth lens element has at least one inflection point. |

1. A wide-angle optical lens assembly comprising, in order from an object side to an image side:
a first lens element with negative refractive power having a concave image-side surface; a second lens element with refractive power having a concave object-side surface and a convex image-side surface; a third lens element with positive refractive power; a fourth lens element with positive refractive power; a fifth lens element with refractive power having an object-side surface and an image-side surface which are both aspheric; and a sixth lens element with refractive power having a convex object-side surface, wherein the object-side surface and an image-side surface of the sixth lens element are both aspheric; wherein at least one of the second lens element and the fifth lens element has at least one inflection point on at least one surface thereof, the wide-angle optical lens assembly further comprises a stop disposed between the third lens element and the fourth lens element, a composite focal length of the lens elements with refractive power disposed between the stop and an object is ff, a composite focal length of the lens elements with refractive power disposed between the stop and an image plane is fr, a focal length of the wide-angle optical lens assembly is f, a focal length of the third lens element is f3, and the following relationships are satisfied:
0<ff/fr<3.0; and0.2<f/f3<1.5. |
