<p>A disc brake, especially for a commercial vehicle, includes a caliper extending across a brake disc and a brake application device which can be used to force a brake pad against the brake disc by at least one actuating spindle that is guided in the caliper, in correspondence with an associated thrust piece. The disc brake is designed such that the thrust piece consists at least partially of a duroplastic material. A cap is interposed between faces of the actuating spindle and the thrust piece, oriented toward one another and forming contact surfaces. The walls of the cap enclose a projection of the thrust piece.</p> |
