1. A light collector device, comprising:
a plurality of Winston cones, wherein each of the plurality of Winston cones includes:
a first side through which light enters, wherein the first side has a first length; anda second side through which light exits, wherein the second side is opposite the first side and has a second length that is less than the first length; and a single detector, wherein:
the single detector is positioned in direct contact with the second side of each of the plurality of Winston cones through which light exits; andthe single detector is positioned outside of each of the plurality of Winston cones.
