<p>This invention discloses improved mold parts fashioned from a thermoplastic resin compounded with a thermoplastic elastomers. The mold parts can be used in manufacturing processes, such as, for example: continuous, in-line or batched processes to obtain a high degree of precision and accuracy, such as those necessary in the manufacture of ophthalmic lens mold applications. In addition, the present invention includes ophthalmic lenses created using the improved mold parts.</p> |
