<p>The present invention relates to a method for preparing a methacryl-based transparent thermoplastic resin and a methacryl-based transparent thermoplastic resin with high fluidity prepared using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a branched methacryl-based transparent thermoplastic resin having lower gel content and excellent fluidity and physical properties, which is prepared by mass-polymerizing a monomer mixture consisting of 60-80 parts by weight of alkyl methacrylate, 10-39 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound, and 1-10 parts by weight of a vinyl cyanide compound, using monofunctional mercaptan, polyfunctional mercaptan, and polyfunctional vinyl compounds. With respect to a methacryl-based copolymer and a method for manufacturing the same, the present invention does not create gel, by simultaneously using the polyfunctional mercaptan and the polyfunctional vinyl compound, and provides a method for manufacturing a branched methacryl-based ternary massive copolymer with excellent fluidity through a branched structure introduced without a decline in mechanical properties.</p> |
