<p>The present invention relates to an advanced system for treating sewage and wastewater using an electrolysis process. More specifically, nitrogen is removed by nitrification and denitrification in a bioreactor comprising an oxygen-free tank and an aerobic tank; iron is eluted in an iron elution device in an electrolysis tank to be bound with phosphorus, and consequently phosphorous is removed; a coagulant is added; and an electrolysis tank is additionally installed. Therefore, the system for treating sewage and wastewater removes remaining contaminants, which have not been removed by the prior wastewater treatment using electrolysis, by using the coagulant. Also, the electrolysis tank using potential difference is additionally installed to remove viruses and pathogens and to discharge the same to a water system so that efficiency for removing phosphorus can be increased.</p> |
