FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foamed plastic, based on phenolic resin, which can be used as a heat-insulating and fireproof material for construction and general industrial purposes. The foamed plastic contains hydrocarbon and/or chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon, where the average pore diameter is in the range from 5 mcm or more to 200 mcm or less, a part of the area of the surface of voids constitutes 5% or less in its transverse section, the density is in the range from 15 kg/mor more to 26 kg/mor less, and when pressing with 10% displacement in the direction, perpendicular to the thickness direction, is performed, the level of shape recovery after 1 min after the release of the said pressing pressure is in the range from 96.0% or more to 98.5% or lower, with the degree of the change of levels of shape recovery C being in the range from 0.030%/hour or more to 0.060%/hour or less.EFFECT: foamed plastic is characterised by the excellent property of shape recovery after pressing without the development of an unfavourable effect on exploitation characteristics of heat insulation in the absence of pressing or mechanical strength.9 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl, 12 ex |
