FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to graphite electrode of electric arc furnace. Graphite electrode resists oxidation thanks to modification of external characteristics of cylindrical surface (14). External cylindrical surface can be modified so that it incorporates textured section (16) to improve the water flow by minimising the water absorption.
