The method includes receiving a hydroacoustic noise signal using halves of a hydroacoustic antenna; measuring the cross spectrum between hydroacoustic noise signals received by the halves of the hydroacoustic antenna; measuring the autocorrelation function of said cross spectrum; determining presence of flexures of the autocorrelation function, and in the absence thereof, measuring ?T- the width of the primary maximum of the autocorrelation function at the level of 0.1; determining a calibration coefficient M=D/?T, where Dis the known distance of detecting a target with fixed noise emission with a known spectral decay, ?Tis the width of the primary maximum of the autocorrelation function corresponding to the known distance; and determining distance to the target using the formula D=?T*M.EFFECT: high reliability of measuring distance in shipping interfering conditions.1 dwg |
