The present invention relates to a three-phase squirrel-cage pole changing motor and a hoist including the same. The three-phase squirrel-cage pole changing motor according to the present invention includes a stator which includes coils wound around a plurality of slots formed on the inner circumference thereof and a cylindrical rotor which is formed to face the inner circumference of the stator and rotates by a magnetic force generated when a current flows in the coil. The stator includes the coils which are divided into two groups and are wound to make the rotor rotate with two kinds of speeds. A first group is wound to form six poles. A second group is wound to form 24 poles.
