A first information processing device has a first power mode and a second power mode in which electrical power consumption is less than in the first power mode. A second information processing device is capable of communicating with the first information processing device and an external device via a network. Determination information is received from the first information processing device and the external device. If a packet is received from the external device in the second power mode, the packet is analysed to identify determination information corresponding to the packet.
