An apparatus to remove a foreign substance is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus to remove a foreign substance is to remove rust generated in a strip by being arranged on a front of a grease removing tank to remove grease by immersing the strip, and comprises: a rust removing unit having a plurality of polishing rolls which are in contact with an edge portion of both sides of both an upper and lower surface of a strip to be rotated, and a magnet member installed in each side of the polishing rolls to remove a chip of the strip removed by the polishing rolls; and a cleaning unit having a plurality of brushes which have an outer circumferential surface of the polishing rolls respectively installed to be adjacent to the polishing rolls to correspond to the polishing rolls, and a bush portion frictionally in contact with a surface of the strip to be rotated. |
