An antenna device (1) comprises: a first metal member (11a) having a first main surface; a second metal member (11b) having a second main surface; and an antenna coil (21) having a coil shaft perpendicular to the first and the second main surface. The first metal member (11a) forms at least a portion of a body of a portable electronic device on which the antenna coil (21) is mounted. At least one slit (SL1) is formed between the first metal member (11a) and the second metal member (11b). A bore unit (21a) of the antenna coil (21) is overlapped with the slit (SL1) when viewed from a plane. An area of the slit (SL1) overlapped with the antenna coil (21) when viewed from the plane has a constant width.
