<p>A display device having a sensor according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a pair of electrodes for a touch sensor, to arrange a plurality of electrodes oriented in one direction to intersect one another; and a display panel equipped with a plurality of display elements arranged in a matrix pattern, a plurality of gate lines extended along a row where the display elements are arranged, and a plurality of source lines extended along a column where the display elements are arranged. A common electrode provided in the display panel is commonly used as either one electrode of the electrodes for a touch sensor, the electrodes for a touch sensor are operated in a self-detection method, and an image display operation of the display panel and a driving operation of the electrodes for a touch sensor are carried out by time division.</p> |
