FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to immunology and biotechnology. An isolated anti-hepsin antibody is claimed, where the antibody binds with hepsin in the complex, containing hepsin and a serin protease inhibitor, which binds subsite S1 of the human hepsin. The antibody is characterised by the presence of 6 CDR: HVR-H1, containing the sequence GFNFSYSYMH; HVR-H2, containing ASIYSYYGSTYYADSVKG; HVR-H3, containing ARSDSWSYKSGYTQKIYSKGLDY; HVR-L1, containing RASQSVSSAVA; HVR-L2, containing SASSLYS; HVR-L3, containing QQYYSSYYLLT.
