<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling the delay of an optical relay system for mobile communications and, more specifically, to an apparatus capable of improving data throughput and call quality and performing a control operation for stably and conveniently perform operating, maintaining, managing, repairing or a combination thereof by precisely measuring and monitoring a delay between optical relay systems in a mobile communications network and quickly locating an optical relay system in which a corresponding error has occurred and repairing the system if a specific optical relay system causes an error including a breakdown, a failure, a blackout or a combination thereof. In addition, the apparatus is provided to reduce variations in period delay measurement by setting a synchronous reference point of an upper frame with respect to a lower frame and correcting variations due to errors of a frame time position when regenerating the frame.</p> |
