The present invention relates to a method for estimating the temperature of a rotor of a motor, which calculates temperature variation of the rotor through a thermal impedance model and an energy loss model based on real measurement data, and estimates the temperature of the rotor through the calculated temperature variation of the rotor. For this, the method for estimating the temperature of a rotor of a motor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: calculating energy loss of the motor through operation condition of the motor; calculating the temperature variation of the rotor at an established reference temperature by using the calculated energy loss, and thermal resistance of the rotor and a stator of the motor; and estimating the temperature of the rotor at the established reference temperature through the temperature variation of the rotor. |
