Provided is a solid oxide fuel cell which is not susceptible to gas leakage. A solid oxide fuel cell (1) which is provided with: a power generation film (7) comprising first and second electrode layers (4, 6) and a solid oxide electrolyte layer (5); first and second bases (2, 3) which are arranged so as to form first and second gas channels (13, 14); and a via hole conductor unit (11) which is connected to the first electrode layer (4). The via hole conductor unit (11) comprises a first via hole conductor (8) having a first end face (8a) and a second via hole conductor (9) having a second end face (9a). The first end face (8a) of the first via hole conductor (8) and the second end face (9a) of the second via hole conductor (9) are in contact with each other. The boundary (2c) between the outer circumferential edge of the first end face (8a) of the first via hole conductor (8) and a portion of the first base (2) positioned outside the outer circumferential edge is positioned within the second end face (9a) of the second via hole conductor (9).
