<p>The present invention relates to a battery device for an electric vehicle, which has one high voltage battery where a high voltage battery (the main battery), to which a lithium battery is applied, and a 12V battery, to which a lithium battery is applied, are embedded, thereby allowing a separate device to protect the 12V battery to be removed. The battery device for an electric vehicle comprises: a high voltage battery pack having the high voltage battery embedded therein; a direct current (DC)/DC converter embedded in the high voltage battery pack and connected to a high voltage output terminal of the high voltage battery pack to lower voltage of the main battery (BAT) to be voltage suitable for charging the 12V battery; the 12V battery embedded in the high voltage battery pack and storing the voltage lowered in the DC/DC converter; and a voltage output terminal supplying voltage output from the 12V battery to the outside. The lithium battery is used as the 12V battery.</p> |
