METHOD FOR CONTROLLING STREAM VELOCITY OF MOLTEN STEEL

Disclosed is a method for controlling a molten steel flow velocity. The method for controlling a molten steel flow velocity includes the steps of: measuring magnetic field applied to a molten steel in a mold; estimating the molten steel flow velocity on a molten metal surface according to the magnetic field; comparing the estimated molten steel flow velocity on the molten metal surface with a predetermined reference value; and adjusting magnitude of the magnetic field applied to the molten flow for converging the molten flow velocity on the molten metal surface to the reference value.
