PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image processing techniques useful for devices that support image processing of differently sized images.SOLUTION: A device 2 captures a first image with an image capture apparatus 12, processes the first image using line buffers of a front-end processing unit 18 sized to accommodate an image width of the first image, and captures a second image with the image capture apparatus, the second image having an image width larger than the image width of the first image. The device also processes vertical stripes of the second image using the line buffers, the vertical stripes of the second image defining widths that fit into the line buffers. |
