PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharged engine controller and a supercharged control method capable of sufficiently improving acceleration responsiveness during re-acceleration.SOLUTION: A controller for a supercharged engine 100 including a compressor 51 and a throttle valve 31 of a supercharger 50 provided in an intake passage 30; an intake bypass passage 60 branched off from the intake passage 30 between the compressor 51 and the throttle valve 31 and merged with the intake passage 30 upstream of the compressor 51; and a recirculation valve 61 opening or closing the intake bypass passage 60, comprises: a state determination unit S105 determining whether it is time of transition from a supercharged operation state to a non-supercharged operation state; a condition determination unit S106, S107 determining whether an acceleration priority condition is satisfied; and a valve control unit S109 closing the recirculation valve 61 if the acceleration priority condition is satisfied at the time of transition from the supercharged operation state to the non-supercharged operation state.
