PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device capable of suppressing a rebound cushion from disturbing the communication of a reservoir with the interior of a cylinder when a piston rod fully extends. ! SOLUTION: A cylinder device comprises a rebound cushion 110 that is disposed between a piston 21 slidably fitted into a cylinder 2 and a rod guide 45 provided on an opening side of the cylinder 2 and that abuts on the rod guide 45 by extension of the piston rod 15, a communication passage 72 communicating an interior of the cylinder 2 with a reservoir 4 being provided on the opening side of the cylinder 2, and a channel 115 communicating the communication passage 72 with the interior of the cylinder 2 when the piston rod 15 fully extends being disposed in the rebound cushion 110. !
