1. A method for producing aromatics from biomass-derived materials comprising:
a) feeding a hydrocarbonaceous material comprising fermentation products to a reactor, and pyrolyzing within the reactor at least a portion of the hydrocarbonaceous material to produce one or more pyrolysis products; b) catalytically reacting at least a portion of the pyrolysis products of step a) to produce hydrocarbon products comprising aromatics, and separating at least a portion of the hydrocarbon products comprising aromatics; and c) recovering aromatics from the portion of hydrocarbon products of step b). |
