This invention provides a communication system wherein a plurality of groups each including a plurality of terminal apparatuses are formed and wherein at least one base station apparatus allocates channels to the respective groups whereby a terminal apparatus included in the group to which any one of the channels is allocated communicates with the remaining terminal apparatuses included in that group. In the communication system, before starting the communication, a transmission unit (54) transmits, to the base station apparatus, information related to authentication. A reception unit (56) receives, from the base station apparatus, information related to the authentication status of at least another terminal apparatus in the group.
