PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition exhibiting extremely low friction coefficient when used as a lubricating oil for low friction slide material, and to provided a slide mechanism excellent in low friction property and abrasion resistance by combining the lubricating oil composition and a slide member having a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon)coated film on a slide face.SOLUTION: There is provided the lubricating oil composition for low friction slide material containing an organomolybdenum compound which has a nitrogen (N) atom and/or an oxygen (O) atom in a molecule and may have a sulfur (S) atom and has the content of sulfur of 0.5 mass% or less based on the compound. There is also provided the slide mechanism using the lubricating oil composition for low friction slide material.
