PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel assembly inspection apparatus capable of appropriately conducting a visual inspection in a constricted part of a fuel assembly stored in a spent fuel storage rack.SOLUTION: A fuel assembly inspection apparatus 6 comprises: a first hollow straight pipe 15 storing therein an endoscope; a second hollow straight pipe 21 coupled to an upper portion of the first hollow straight pipe 15 and movable in a depth direction or a horizontal direction of a spent fuel pool 8; a seated jig 10 that has an opening 28 interlocked with the second hollow straight pipe 21 and allowing the first hollow straight pipe 15 to move and that can be fitted with an upper end portion of one section of a fuel storage rack 1; and a support pillar 24 supporting the seated jig 10, and also supporting a camera attachment plate 23 for holding a camera 12 imaging an insertion position of the first hollow pipe 15. The first hollow straight pipe 15 includes a slit 29 formed in a longitudinal direction, and an observation window 36 of the endoscope being disposed at a position of the slit 29.
