METHOD FOR MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF OXIDE IN THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating the ratio of a Bi oxide to a BiTe base material, by an infrared spectroscopic analysis method.SOLUTION: In a method for measuring a concentration of a Bi oxide in a BiTe-based thermoelectric conversion material, (1) a ratio (C) of Bi oxide amount to a solvent with respect to a sample containing a thermoelectric conversion material in the solvent is calculated, by an infrared spectroscopic analysis method, (2) a weight before drying of the sample and a weight after drying of the sample are weighed, respectively, and a ratio (C) of the BiTe-based thermoelectric conversion material containing the Bi oxide to the solvent is calculated from the measured result, and (3) a ratio of the Bi oxide to the BiTe-based thermoelectric conversion material containing the Bi oxide is obtained from a ratio of Cto C.
