The present disclosure provides aqueous ink-jet inks having improved salt stability containing an aqueous vehicle, a colorant, and a mixture of a water-borne anionic polymeric binder and a water-borne non-ionic polymeric binder.

An aqueous ink-jet ink having improved salt stability comprising an aqueous vehicle, a colorant, and a mixture of a water-borne anionic polymeric binder and a water-borne non-ionic polymeric binder, wherein said anionic polymeric binder is a polyurethane, and said non-ionic polymeric binder is selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, polyethylene-vinylacetate, acrylics, polyamide, polystyrene-acrylate, and mixtures thereof.
