A server which gathers data from a plurality of instruments connected via a network and processes the gathered data is provided with an accumulation means which, upon receipt of data from the plurality of instruments, accumulates the data in such a way that said data can be distinguished according to services which use the data, and a processing means which retrieves on a service-by-service basis the data that has been accumulated by the accumulation means, and subjects the data to predetermined processes. |
