<p>The distribution container management system is provided with: an inventory storage unit (11) that stores an asset inventory showing the total number of distribution containers to be managed, a site inventory showing the number of distribution containers existing in each site, and an adjustment inventory showing the number of divergences between the number of distribution containers shipped and the number of distribution containers received on each shipment and receipt; a shipping/receiving information acquisition unit (12) that acquires shipping information, in which the information showing a shipping site is associated with the information showing the number of distribution containers shipped, or receiving information, in which the information showing a receiving site is associated with the information showing the number of distribution containers received; a shipment/receipt identification information acquisition unit (13) that acquires shipment/receipt identification information, which is associated with the shipping or receiving information and identifies shipment or receipt; an inventory update unit (14) that updates the site inventory in the shipping or receiving site on the basis of the shipping or receiving information; and an adjustment inventory calculation unit (15) that calculates, on the basis of the shipping or receiving information, the adjustment inventory related to the shipment or receipt identified by the shipment/receipt identification information and causes the inventory storage unit (11) to store the adjustment inventory.</p> |
