PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ozone from being generated when absolute humidity is low.SOLUTION: An air-purifying unit has: a discharge treatment unit (51) that generates an active species by discharging in air; a power source (52) that supplies power to the discharge treatment unit (51); and a control unit (72) that controls the power source (52) such that the average discharge output time of the discharge treatment unit (51) decreases in accordance with a reduction in the absolute humidity of the air or such that the average discharge output time decreases more when a humidification operation is not reported than when the humidification operation is reported.
