PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder which improves convenience of a user. ! SOLUTION: The sheet feeder includes: a pressure plate 31A which is arranged in a casing having an opening on a side surface and can place a paper inserted from the opening; a front cover 23 which can support a part of the paper placed on the pressure plate 31A and arranged on an outer side of the casing from the opening in an open state of the opening; a first guide 100 which is arranged on the front cover 23 so as to move in a conveying direction of the paper and has a first restriction surface 110A for restricting a position of a front end of the paper placed on the pressure plate 31A; and a second guide 200 arranged on the first guide 100 so as to swing.
