PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional agitation joining method, capable of joining up to a deep position of a butting part, by reducing a load applied to a frictional agitation device.SOLUTION: The frictional agitation joining method comprises an agitation pin F2, and joins two metallic members 1 by using a rotary tool F connected to a rotary shaft of the frictional agitation device, and includes a regular joining process of executing frictional agitation joining in a state of contacting only the agitation pin F2 of the rotary tool F with the metallic members 1 among the frictional agitation device and the rotary tool F, by inserting the rotated agitation pin F2 into the butting part of the mutual metallic members 1. |
