摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent explosive ignition caused by ignition delay in re-ignition after an accidental fire in an off-gas burning part.SOLUTION: A fuel battery device 1 includes: a reformer 3 which reforms a hydrogen containing fuel to produce a hydrogen enriched reformed gas; a plurality of fuel battery cells 6 for generating power by using the reformed gas and an oxidant; a reformed gas supply pipe 4 for supplying the reformed gas from the reformer 3 to the fuel battery cell 6; an off-gas burning part 7 which burns an off-gas exhausted from an upper end of the fuel battery cell 6 to maintain the reformer 3 in a high-temperature state; a pilot burner 8 for forming a flame within the off-gas burning part 7; and a flow rate control part which controls a flow rate of the reformed gas supplied to the pilot burner 8. The reformed gas supply pipe 4 includes a connection port 20 for burner connection in the middle thereof, and the pilot burner 8 is connected to the connection port 20.
