The present invention relates to a method for transmitting and receiving data using multiple carriers of a terminal in a mobile communication system. When it is determined to add a serving cell based on report of a measurement result transmitted to a serving base station, the present invention comprises the steps of: performing additional operation of a serving cell and a pico base station of a pico cell where a terminal is positioned; and performing measurement with respect to an object to be measured indicated by the serving base station.
