PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective film for a polarizing plate, which comprises a stretched (meth)acrylic resin film having excellent adhesiveness to a surface treatment layer or a polarizing film, and a polarizing plate using the protective film.SOLUTION: The protective film for a polarizing plate comprises an oriented film comprising a (meth)acrylic resin and having an absolute value of a planar orientation coefficient &Dgr;P of 2.5×10or less. The polarizing plate includes a polarizing film and the above protective film for a polarizing plate, laminated with an adhesive layer on at least one surface of the polarizing film. The oriented film can be, for example, a biaxially oriented film. |
