PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing device using position data, an audio system and a related method.SOLUTION: A method of operating a hearing device includes the steps of: pairing a hearing device 2 with an audio system; initiating detection of a motion of the hearing device; sending position data indicating a position of the hearing device to the audio system; wirelessly receiving an audio stream 54 on the basis of the position data of the hearing device; converting the audio stream to a wireless input signal 56; mixing the wireless input signal with an audio input signal 58 from a microphone 14 to form an input signal 60; processing the input signal to form an output signal 62; and converting the output signal to an audio output signal 64.
