PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion of inorganic oxide fine particles, which enables the inorganic fine particles to be dispersed stably even under an acidic condition, and can maintain dispersion stability when mixed with a binder component to prepare a coating composition. ! SOLUTION: Provided is a dispersion containing core-shell type oxide fine particles and a dispersion medium. The core-shell type oxide fine particles include core particles (a) formed of oxide fine particles or composite oxide fine particles containing as a main component one or more types of elements selected from a group consisting of Zr, Sn, Ti, Nb, W, Sb, In, and La, and a shell layer (b) containing a composite oxide shell layer coating the core particles, which contains as a main component composite oxides of Si and Al.
