A sealing device seals a pressure or vacuum zone in a roller with a perforated roller sleeve that rotates relative to the sealing device. A sealing strip and a format limiter seal the pressure or vacuum zone. The sealing strip has a lubricant opening formed as an upwardly open depression. A sealing face of the sealing strip and of the format limiter brace against the roller sleeve, and the roller sleeve runs onto the sealing strip at the front end and runs off the sealing strip at the rear end. A lubricant opening of a second type which is open toward the upper side, but not toward the end side against which the format limiter is placed, and/or a lubricant opening of a third type is upwardly open and toward that end side against which the format limiter is placed, and/or at least in portions no lubricant opening is provided. |
