A substrate (110) has corner sections (112). An insulating layer (170) has first openings (172). Light emitting elements (102) overlap the first openings (172), and have organic layers (130), respectively. At least one layer, for instance, a hole injection layer, of each of the organic layers (130), is a coat film, and other layers are deposition films. All the layers of each of the organic layers (130) may be coat films. Furthermore, at least one layer, i.e., the coat film, of each of the organic layers (130) is also positioned on the insulating layer (170), and has a protruding region (132) that is protruding toward each of the corner sections (112) of the substrate (110). |
