In the present invention, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, conjugated-linoleic acid (CLA), linolenic acid, gamma-linolenic acid, artemisinin, or artesunate is a physiologically active material contained in various medicinal plants and animals, and has not been previously reported to have an antituberculous effect against tuberculosis. In the present invention, it was verified that the materials have an antituberculous effect or activity and the materials can be used as a composition for treating, alleviating, and preventing tuberculosis (figure 2). The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a functional health food composition, a feed composition, an animal medicine composition, and a quasi-drug composition, which contain, as an active ingredient, palmitic acid, linoleic acid, conjugated-linoleic acid(CLA), linolenic acid, gamma-linolenic acid, artemisinin, or artesunate, for treating, alleviating, and preventing tuberculosis. The pharmaceutical composition, functional health food composition, feed composition, animal medicine composition, and quasi-drug composition according to the present invention has an antituberculous effect or activity against tuberculosis, and thus can be used as an antibacterial composition for treating, alleviating, and preventing tuberculosis. |
