A terminal connection structure (1) has a male terminal (2) which has a tab terminal section (3) and a female terminal (10) which has a spring contact section (12) disposed within a tube section (11). The tab terminal section (3) is provided with a protruding contact point section (5). The spring contact section (12) is provided with a slide guide protrusion (17) extending obliquely relative to the direction (f) of insertion and extraction of the tab terminal section (3). When the tab terminal section moves in the direction (ID) of insertion thereof, the contact point section (5) slides along one side surface of the slide guide protrusion (17), and when the tab terminal section (3) moves in the direction (RD) of extraction thereof, the contact point section (5) slides along the other side surface of the slide guide protrusion (17).
