<p>A device (10) for operating a power switch (1) of an apparatus in an electrical installation, which comprises: - an outer casing (12) containing an electromechanical actuating unit (18) with an actuating end (42, 43), protruding from an operating surface (13) of the outer casing (12), and movable between a first operating position and a second operating position, and designed to mechanically operate the power switch (1); - fixing means (20) provided on the outer casing (12) and designed to removably fasten the device (10) to the power switch 1 with the operating surface (13) of the outer casing (12) facing the power switch (1) so that, when the actuating end (42, 43) of the electromechanical actuating unit (18) moves between its first operating position and its second operating position, the actuating end (42, 43) mechanically operates the power switch (1), thereby causing switching on or turning off of the apparatus connected to the power switch (1); - a control unit (14) connected to the electromechanical actuating unit (18) for controlling the movement of the actuating end (42, 43) between the first and the second operating positions.</p> |
